Plastic grinding process mainly includes the following steps:
First, classification and collection: plastic milling plants generally purchase waste plastics from recycling stations or production plants. Waste plastics are collected by type to avoid mixing affecting processing quality.
Second, crushing and washing: the waste plastic is broken, and then washed with water or steam. The purpose is to remove dirt, impurities, coatings, etc. attached to the plastic surface.
Third, drying treatment: plastic grinding processing often needs to dry the waste plastic after crushing and washing. The determination of drying temperature and time depends on the type of waste plastic and water content. Hot air drying, forced ventilation drying, vacuum drying and other methods are usually used to dry waste plastics.
Fourth, crushing: the dried waste plastic, need to be crushed, the large pieces of waste plastic broken into small particles, usually used equipment are disc crusher, shear crusher, blade grinder, particle mill and so on.
Fifth, screening: After the crushing is completed, it is also necessary to screen the crushed plastic to obtain different specifications of plastic particles. Generally, vibrating screen, rotary screen, pressure screen and other methods are used for screening.
6. Packaging and sales: The selected plastic grinding powder is packaged and sold to the market in different specifications. Common packaging methods are 25 kg/bag, 50 kg/bag, 500 kg/bag and so on.
